Mission
To provide faith-based, trauma-informed support to families affected by detention and deportation. Walking with them from the moment a loved one is detained, through the deportation process, and into long-term restoration.
Misión
Brindar apoyo basado en la fe y con enfoque en el trauma a las familias afectadas por la detención y la deportación. Acompañándoles desde la detención de un ser querido, durante el proceso de deportación y hasta su recuperación a largo plazo.
Personal Testimony-
In June 2025, our family was torn apart when my husband Pastor Jony Mejía was deported without warning. Out of that pain, Called Through the Border was born—to walk with families facing detention and separation, offering a voice for justice. Our story is one of loss & calling to stand for family unity.
